nature morte
Thanks to the New Year holidays, finally I got time for painting! And since it was a gift, the process of creating was really serious.

Way from Filaos
So long time I haven't been here and as I see dreams really comes true. From my last post already gone more then a month and finally I got the monstera plant! It perfectly added warm and cozy atmosphere at our office living room. And when it's a sunny day I see elegant shadows on the wall from big leaves. Today I'm going to share my recent artwork. It was painted (not drawn!) while there was winter in Mauritius. As I'm living here on pretty high altitude, there was really rainy and cold. And the seascape was painted with dreams about warm sun. We can see the side of blue boat and sparkling ocean on horizon. It was a beautiful morning in December 2012, when we were going back from music festival on the island. We were on boat and water around was so turquoise. After sleepless night we were looking at sparkling splashes of water and were hiding tired eyes behind sunglasses.

Monster from the garden
I was always dreaming about big home plants and especially about big monstera plant, like in old libraries. And now, while living on warm island, I found it pretty difficult to buy this tropical plant. Everything else but not monstera. So I created this drawing with dreams about plant, maybe dreams will come true soon...

clouds
Every time when I want to draw clouds from memory I can't remember the shape of it. It always become like in cartoon round above and flat underneath. So I decided to look up last weekend and to see what is going in the sky.

Experiments with materials
I liked the theme of skull, it reminds me my school days. We were drawing the real skull and learning anatomy of human. Now I decided to create something interesting and use not only my favorite ink. Here is a mix of few types of paper, paint and ink.
